Fresh Look, after two month break

so it feels good to paint again, on this idea that has been in my head for quite a few years now. Nothing really goes as planned, and the unexpected brings evolutionary leaps in personal enlightenment.  All in all, life has its own current, either go with the flow, or swim in your own direction.

My current situation has not made much forward progress; Yet intention has been shown for the continuing of this piece of public art.
So it from pure emotion and flow that i am painting now.  My creative flow is stagnant when i worry of future payments/plans for this mural.  I am trusting in the flow that has made everything happen thus far….enjoy the progress

Giving thanks day..

I am grateful for many many things.  I thank everyone in my life for being themselves, allowing me to be myself as well.  I give thanks to myself, for allowing myself to be me, to explore the vast chambers that make me who i am.  I am grateful for my passion as an artist, to be able to create and live the lifestyle of my choosing.  I give thanks to all the ups and downs in my life, I am grateful to know that the lows (downs) are just as, or even more important than the highs regarding our life lessons.  It’s how we choose to pick ourselves up when knocked down that shows the truth of our character.  This is definitely a low point in the progress of the mural, and in part my career.  I am hit yet again with another bounced check,  It hurts, though its not as shocking as the first time.  After getting past my anger, which did not last as long this time…

I still want to respond in a positive way.  Trust me I am not an idiot I will be looking into all my legal options, so that I am prepared with a last stand of sorts.  Yet I am still more entranced to see how a +POSITIVE+ campaign could make a difference.  So I encourage you to help make a positive statement with me….check out

Slow Progression…

So I am told that the mural will be paid for in the spring. I am still asking for everyone’s support to make a +POSITIVE+ Demonstration. To help ensure that it is top business priority to get the mural paid for.

with all that being said, i started painting again today on the mural. I cant believe I took almost the entire month off, it was nice and i did not want to put bad feelings into the paint.  But its nice to be back at it.  I am painting the first color image on the film strip and composing the clouds over the setting sun. will have some images soon

Mural on hold…NEED YOUR HELP!!

Hello all,
as life likes to throw us unexpected things…..i got a a big one this month. The commissioner of this project bounced a check, broke contract for financial reasons, and is hoping to pay in the spring. An unexpected hit to my ego, lifestyle and heart, not to mention my pocket book….

As much as I want to be angry and retaliate, that course of action would not deliver the results I am looking for, so instead I am turning to what I know best…creative solutions.

Most artists and most people for that matter are lovers…not fighters….so i am asking you to send some love my way and to the way the business world is supposed to operate.

I am calling for your help…..

the concept is simple….send a postcard to the office of the mural commissioner telling him that you can’t wait to see the mural!…that you are so glad that he is supporting the art world…..How much a public mural will beautify the town and enhance the experience of the tourists.

Make the commissioner feel that “getting the mural paid for, and upholding his agreements is top business priority”

Back from a bit of a Holiday

My appologise for the not having any updates for awhile. It was my birthday and i took a holiday (from life).

its always nice to take a break, even from the creative endeavors.  I am very much looking forward to starting again. a few more black and white images, then i’ll start with the color images…
